JB Contracting, LLC began with a summer job that introduced owner Brian Wymer to the construction industry and sparked an interest in skilled craftsmanship and turning ideas into finished spaces. After gaining valuable experience working alongside other industry professionals, Brian established the business in 2005. Today, he brings 20 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, renovation, and high-end remodeling to the homeowners we serve.

Our roots are in Spirit Lake, IA, and the Okoboji Lakes region, where we help residential customers build and improve spaces around their needs, lifestyles, properties, and long-term plans. Our work includes new home construction, home additions, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, exterior projects, and window replacement. Whether a homeowner is building from the ground up or making meaningful changes to an existing property, we believe careful preparation creates a stronger foundation for the work ahead.

Brian remains actively involved throughout our projects. We take time to understand what homeowners want to accomplish, address important selections early, communicate clearly, and establish expectations before construction moves forward.
